The Aseniwuche Winewak Nation delivers a wide variety of programs and services to meet the needs of the local community.
About the program
The program is three (3) months in duration and includes an eight week Life Skills component (budgeting, communication, self-esteem, etc.) and four weeks of supported work experience. Pacific Institute Thought Patterns for a Successful Career will be offered. The program provides training in occupational skills, resume writing and interview skills. Certificates required for work and driver training will also be offered. The goal of the program is to assist participants to obtain suitable employment at completion of the program. Certificates are provided to participants who successfully complete the program.
Financial assistance is provided through Alberta Learner Benefits. To qualify for funding applicants must have been out of school for one full year and over the age of 18. Applicants may still qualify if they are receiving E.I. This program is open to anyone who qualifies in the Town and surrounding areas of Grande Cache.
