Grande Prairie Local Scholarship 2026
Weyerhaeuser will be awarding two (2) $1000 scholarships to students from Aseniwuche Winewak Nation (AWN) enrolled in post-secondary education.
All students enrolled in any field of study are encouraged to apply.
Please include the following in your application as scholarship recipients will be selected based on:
• A description of your post-secondary objectives and career aspirations.
• A 300–400-word explanation of what the forest industry means to your community and the world around us.
• A summary of extracurricular activities and/or community involvement.
• Completed scholarship applicant information form (form found below).
• Proof of post-secondary enrolment for the coming year.
